Titanfall Beta had Full Res Textures, more on Servers
Vince Zampella just shared some more info about Titanfall on Twitter.
A lot of people were asking themselves whether Titanfall’s Beta was a good representation of the final product in terms of graphics, and there was some talking about textures having a reduced resolution in comparison to those that will be in the final game, but Vince Zampella shed some light on this topic, claiming that the textures were indeed already at full resolution:
He didn’t specify what platform he was talking about, but we would think it counts for both the PC and Xbox One, so anyone hoping for major graphics improvements will likely be disappointed, but there still might be space for some minor improvements.
Vince Zampella also cleared the situation regarding the cloud servers on PC. He mentions that they will be available via matchmaking, and that private matches, a staple of PC shooters in multiplayer, will follow in a patch.
Are you hyped? Titanfall’s release is only 10 days away, now. Read the impressions of our Editor in Chief in the meantime!
