Philip Seymour Hoffman dead at 46

The Wall Street Journal is reporting right now that actor Philip Seymour Hoffman was found dead in his New York City apartment this afternoon. He was 46.

 

The cause of death is not confirmed, but the internet is swarming with the speculation of overdose, but keep in mind that, for now, is just a rumor.

 

Philip Seymour Hoffman was nominated four times by the Academy Award for Charlie Wilson’s War, Doubt, and The Master, finally winning the prize for his performance in Capote. You may have seen him very recently in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
