Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare delayed
The upcoming third-person shooter Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare is facing a slight delay in its release.
Instead of the Microsoft-exclusive title releasing on its original date of Feb. 18 in North American and Feb. 20 in Europe, it will now release one week later in both regions on Feb. 25 and Feb. 27 respectfully.
But that’s not all of the Garden Warfare news today. Developer PopCap Games has released a new gameplay developer diary discussing the four-player co-op in a mode knows as Garden Ops. This mode pits players as the plants defending a garden for 11 rounds until Crazy Dave can take them to safety. The developer diary also reveals the Yeti and Giga-Gargantuar zombies, who are some of the tougher zombies types in the series that will act as wave bosses in Garden Warfare. Check out the developer diary here.
PopCap has also revealed the Ice Pea, Hot Rod Chomper, Future Cactus and Mystic Sunflower. These plants each contain their own special abilities and costumes. The screenshots of these plants can be seen below.
