Matt Reeves signed on to direct Planet of the Apes 3

Be ready: if you are a fan of the 2011s reboot Rise of the Planet of the Apes and you are eager to watch the upcoming Matt Reeves second chapter Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (on July 11), you must also prepare yourself for a third chapter, as today Matt Reeves signed for 20th Century Fox to bring Caesar and his gang on the big screen again (likely in mid 2015).
The director will also co-script Planet of the Apes 3 with Mark Bomback, who worked on Dawn’s screenplay as well, and is expected to move right into the third film once he’s done with Dawn.
