New Fast & Furious 7 release date

In this news of early December we were telling you about how the tragic death of actor Paul Walker was putting Universal Studios in the uncomfortable position of deciding what to do about the actor’s role in the upcoming Fast & Furious 7. The movie seriously risked to be reset from zero, but today we finally know, thanks to a new release date, that this is not the plan.

The film was originally slated to open July 11 2014 but now, officially announced today, the new Fast & Furious 7 release date will be April 10 2015.

Paul Walker will still appear in the movie thanks to existing footage and Cody (Paul Walker’s younger brother, which is also a stuntman) will help the production by shooting the necessary scenes to get a proper send-off to Brian O’Conner, his brother’s character.
