Paul Rudd joins Ant-Man

Paul Rudd is in now in early negotiations to play the superhero Ant-Man for Marvel, as confirmed by various sources. The rumors about his involvement in the project started back in October and now it seems he is definitely the man for the part.

The Edgar Wright directed flick is based off a script he co-wrote with Joe Cornish and it is about a biochemist, Dr. Hank Pym, which uses his latest discovery (a group of subatomic particles) to create a size-altering formula. In addition, he develops by accident an instrument that helps him communicate with and control insects.

The film releases in theaters July 31, 2015.
