Fable Anniversary gets a release date and more

After a long wait, Lionhead Studio’s HD remake of the original Fable, Fable Anniversary, finally gets a release date.

 

Releasing exclusively on the Xbox 360, Fable Anniversary will launch next year on Feb. 4 in the U.S., Feb. 6 in Asia and Feb. 7 in Europe.

 

Fable Anniversary boasts many new features, including “…upgraded HD graphics, remastered audio, a slick new interface, achievements, SmartGlass integration and “The Lost Chapters” content.

In addition to the overhauled work on the game and its previously included content, Lionhead has also announced the limited edition of the game come packed with codes for the Launch Day Weapons and Outfits Pack and a 10th Anniversary Lion’s - Head Avatar helmet which is also in a shiny case. This pack contains the following content:

 

  • Scythe’s Outfit
  • A Black Graduate Outfit
  • A Red Prophet Outfit
  • A Blue Guard Outfit
  • A Red Guard Outfit
  • A Lute Weapon
  • A Will User’s Sceptre Weapon
