A Salem TV Series for HBO

The brilliant creator of Weeds Jenji Kohan, after eight seasons on Showtime is now headed to HBO to develop a period drama centered on the controversial topic of the witch hunting.

 

The Salem TV Series still has no official title, but we know for sure that it will explore the circumstances surrounding one of the most compelling chapters in American history, when intolerance and repression set neighbor against neighbor and led a New England town to mass hysteria.
