It was recently revealed that the latest in the Gran Turismo racing series will feature microtransactions in the form of purchasable cars, a first for the series. Now the details of these transactions have been revealed.
The game features cars that are used to buy these cars, credits can be bought in the following quantities:
- 500,000 In-Game Credits (£3.99/€4.99)
- 1 Million In-Game Credits (£7.99/€9.99)
- 2,500,000 In-Game Credits (£15.99/€19.99)
- 7 Million In-Game Credits (£39.99/€49.99)
The game’s priciest car, the Jaguar XJ13, can be obtained by dropping a fat £119.95 or, y’know, just 20 million credits. Gran Turismo has always been a grindy series, but 20 million seems just a tad crazy. Of course, only time will tell just have long 20 million credits will take to grind out without dropping a quarter the price of the PS4 itself.
Gran Turismo 6 is released December 6. The video below illustrates the cars available for purchase in-game.
