Thor: The Dark World on top of the US Box Office
Thor: The Dark World by director Alan Taylor is the number one movie at the US Box Office for its second consecutive week with $38.5 million. The last superhero flick with Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman and Tom Hiddleston has obscured a bit the opening of The Best Man Holiday, which sits in second place with $30.6 million. Meanwhile Alfonso Cuaron’s Gravity which debuted on October 4 is still on the top 10 movies (position six with $6.3 million) after an incredible long run, and Warner Bros has announced that the space drama has now passed the $500 million dollar mark at the global box office, earning $240.6 million domestically and $274.3 million internationally:
