First in-game Warhammer 40K Eternal Crusade video
Finally, those of you who have been waiting for this can enjoy the first in-game Warhammer40K Eternal Crusade video (beginning at around 3:00). The game, in development at Behaviour Interactive, will be an MMORPG with a strong focus on PvP; gameplay will be played from a third person perspective and mechanics looks similar to Warhammer 40K: Space Marine, so expect a shooter vibe. Of course, this is just an early prototype, and we expect the final game to look much better as promised by the developers themselves.
Battles will occur on one planet at a time, which all of the main factions will try to conquer: at launch, players will be able to choose between Orks, Space Marines, Chaos Marines and Eldar, with the Tyranids acting as a balancing factor, being NPC-only.
Warhammer 40K Eternal Crusade is expected to be released in late 2015 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with a free-to-play model. Stay tuned to learn more as revealed by Behaviour Interactive.
