It looks like Capcom is looking to expand their highly successful Monster Hunter franchise into mobile and smartphone territory with Monster Hunter Smart; a social and probably micro-transaction riddled Monster Hunter experience on iOS.
I will try to avoid Smart puns but, in all honesty, the game looks pretty gorgeous for a mobile game, monsters are full of detail and the animations look frantic yet very fluid. We don’t know much about Monster Hunter Smart, and it doesn’t help the announcement trailer is only in Japanese, except that it will be coming out later this year on iOS. Hopefully Capcom will release some more information regarding when and where the game will launch exactly and what we can expect out of it.
I’m not expecting much from Monster Hunter Smart, and my expectations aren’t very high, but I’m pretty sure it can’t be worse than Final Fantasy: All the Bravest, right? RIGHT?! You can judge thegame yourself from the trailer below:
