Dragon Age Inquisition multiplayer may not be a dream

In an interview with French website Dragon Age Saga, we discovered that a Dragon Age Inquisition multiplayer mode might not be a faint dream for fans.

Speaking with Cinematic Director Jonathan Perry at a recent event held in London, they asked him about such a mode, and this was his reply:

Lots of people have asked about it, we were really impressed with the guys on Mass Effect but we haven’t really talked about any plans or any features for a multiplayer mode in DAI at this point.

Even though this is far from an official confirmation, Perry could have easily replied “no comment” or “maybe for the next game”, or anything else really. Instead, he acknowledged the fans demand, admitted that Mass Effect 3 multiplayer impressed DAI team and proceeded to conclude that they have nothing to say about it at this point.

All these three elements combined could very well hint that a similar kind of multiplayer will indeed be part of the game and maybe EA will announce it at a later date - after all, the game still has more than a year before its launch, scheduled for Fall 2014 on PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.

Dragon Age Inquisition just had a huge reveal at PAX Prime, with lots of new information coming out of a panel. We’ll gather it all for your reading pleasure, so stay tuned.
