EA announces Battlefield 4 stats transfer and Premium memberships

EA has announced you will be able to transfer all of your stats from current gen consoles to next gen in Battlefield 4.

Since Battlefield 4 is releasing on Oct. 29 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 while the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions are coming at a later time, this gives the players who simply can’t wait for the game on next gen consoles the opportunity to transfer their stats for when its upgraded counterparts do release. This allows players to continue from where they left off instead of starting from scratch on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 games.

Additionally, EA has also announced Battlefield 4 will also have a Premium membership. This membership comes with weekly content, including themed digital expansion packs and personalization options. Battlefield 4 Premium can transfer from current gen consoles to next gen consoles as well as stats.

EA will showcase the Premium membership and a new Battlefield 4 multiplayer mode during their Gamescom press conference, which airs at 10 a.m. on Aug. 20. EA will also show more details on Need For Speed: Rivals, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, FIFA 14, EA SPORTS UFC, Command & Conquer and the official unveiling of The Sims 4 alongside other news.
