GTA V Tops Pre-Orders in USA, CoD is a Distant Third

It seems like gamers can’t wait to get their hands on Rockstar’s fifth numbered entry to their most popular franchise, Grand Theft Auto. The recent flood of promising info sent the hype to a record high; sending GTA V all the way to the top of pre-order charts in the USA and surpassing - by a huge amount - giants such as Call of Duty: Ghosts and Battlefield 4. Sure, GTA V is releasing in a mere 7 weeks compared to the 14 for the latest Call of Duty, but the fact that the pre-orders of the PS3 version alone of GTA V are higher than the combined pre-orders of the 360 and PS3 version of CoD: Ghosts is something Rockstar can really brag about. We will have to wait until the release for both games to see which will come out on top in sheer sales, but it really does seem like GTA V is the game people are really looking forward to this year compared to the usual Call of Duty
