NAMCO BANDAI GAMES EUROPE hopes to entice gamers to pre-order the digital version of One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 with the announcement of Robin’s Edition. This day one, digital edition will come packed with several exclusive scenarios as well as costumes inspired by the Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors franchises.
While the game will also release in physical form, there are many features in One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 - Robin’s Edition that will make gamers consider going green this time around:
- Two exclusive scenarios — “Zoro & Sanji” and “Pacifista & Wapol”. Essentially, in these scenarios, fight against Zoro, Sanji, Franky, Usopp and others.
- Prequel costumes for Robin, Sanji and Zoro
- 2 new outfits for Robin inspired by the Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors series
- PSN pre-order will also snag two additional exclusive costumes for Nami from Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors
Those unfamiliar with the franchise, One Piece is based on the manga and anime series which follows Luffy, the leader of the Straw Hats pirate gang, on a quest to become the king of all pirates. Infused with Devil Fruit powers, he can make himself elastic to the point it would give Dahlsim shivers.
One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 will release in the UK and North America August 30 for the PS3. It has previously been released in Japan in March.
