3DS update features new games, outfits, and hats

A new free 3DS update brings users new games, outfits and hats for the their Mii characters.

The four new games, which can be purchased for $4.99 each or $14.99 for the set, are as follows:

  • Mii Force - To maintain peace in the galaxy, players ironically use Mii characters to destroy enemies

  • Flower Town - In a virtual garden, players have planted seeds. Each time you encounter a fellow StreetPass player, your plants will be watered, and you could possibly grow a new plant with cross-pollination.

  • Warrior’s Way - Recruit new troops to build an army and a country.

  • Monster’s Manor - With each new StreetPass Mii characer you acquire, new pieces of floor are added to your mansion. From there, you can forge rooms, battle ghosts and unlock treasure to reach the top of the mansion.

Additionally, this new update brings new general features for StreetPass. These features include added touch-screen controls, a new layout to the StreetPass Mii Plaza, new panels for puzzle swaps and new expressions and greetings for Miis.

The dozens of new costumes and hats in the update are inspired by many of Nintendo’s well-known franchises. The new additions to the Mii wardrobe include a Yoshi’s egg hat, Super Mushroom hat, Super Star hat and a Luigi costume. However, the outfits and hats alternate every day, but olds can still be obtained via Find Mii.
