Skara the Blade Remains to use Unreal Engine 4

8-bit studios just announced that they have partnered with Epic Games to use their latest Unreal Engine 4 for Skara the Blade Remains. Skara, a MOBA with some twists, is the first game developed by 8-bit studios and will hit beta on December 2013. Pablo, co-founder of Skara, had this to say:

Unreal 4 will allow us to develop Skara with the features and quality we wanted, It is an enormous privilege to be licensed to use it and we are extremely excited to begin experimenting with it.

Apparently, thanks to Unreal Engine 4 the game will be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as well. The game is currently seeking funding on Kickstarter and we will have an interview soon; in the meantime, you can see an alpha gameplay trailer below.
