Super Mario 3D World producer will announce new game, just not yet…

Super Mario 3D World producer Yoshiaki Koizumi is working on something, but we don’t know what yet.

When asked what his future projects after Super Mario 3D World would be, he replied:

“I can not reveal it now, but soon we will make an announcement.”

What a tease, Koizumi-sama… What a tease…

We got a very similar response about a month ago when Nintendo was questioned about Retro Studios, and sure enough, we got confirmation of Retro’s latest title at E3. With any luck, we may see Koizumi’s next project during a Nintendo Direct broadcast in the near future.

What could it be? Super Mario Galaxy 3? Super Mario Universe? Or, potentially, not a Mario title at all? Please, speculate away in the comments below!
