Frostbite 3 titles shipped with AMD optimization only

According to IGN, Frostbite 3 titles will be optimized only for AMD GPUs at release. This is due to a partnership between AMD and Electronic Arts and it includes all present and future Frostbite 3 titles: Battlefield 4, Need for Speed: Rivals, Mirror’s Edge 2, Dragon Age 3: Inquisition, the next Mass Effect and likely Star Wars: Battlefront as well.

GPUs by nVidia will still be supported of course, but nVidia will only be able to optimize their drivers for these titles after release. This is in addition to the known fact that all next-gen consoles use AMD customized video cards: nVidia certainly will need to step up their game, and we hope that this competition can ultimately be useful for users.
