World of Warcraft movie to launch in 2015

It seems like World of Warcraft movie is finally happening. According to Slashfilm, producer Charles Roven declared that they’re going to shoot the film from early 2014 onwards, with a 2015 release planned.

First quarter 2014 we’re going to shoot that movie. We’re moving forward; obviously Legendary is making that film and I’m having a great time with Duncan.

Duncan Jones, cited by Roven, was announced last January to be the movie’s director. After years of waiting, this could be the right time to see World of Warcraft on the big screen, at long last.
