The popular comic sci-fi cartoon Futurama risk to be interrupted. Another time… in fact in 2003 was cancel by Fox channel after only four seasons, but the troop reprise its journey on Comedy Central after a stop of four years, signed a contract for another two seasons.
But the animated series still travel in bad time and, even the story for the characters are much, no one want pay for these.
Matt Groening, creator of the show (and author of another poplar tv cartoon, The Simpsons) doesn’t care about that, and says: «This is a good way to say goodbye. Last chapter are the best that we have realized. It will be a very epic end. Even this is effetely an end. Maybe the show will return in another form, on the web or with a puppet show in the park.»
Internet people start with an initiative for this. On Facebook is yet active the petition Save Futurama, when the fan of the show ask that the series will be not cancelled. At the moment every hope look lost but… never surrender!
