Will Tom Hiddleston be the new Eric Draven?

New rumors about the mysterious remake project of the 1990′s movie The Crow by Alex Proyas, inspired by the famous comic character originally played by Brandon Lee.

 

We know the names of the screenwriter and director, respectively Cliff Dorfman and D. Javier Gutierrez.  We can also speculate who will be playing the main character, Eric Draven, in the movie. Initially the favorite front-runner was James McAvoy, but he denied any involvement in the project. Now The Wrap is letting us know that Tom Hiddleston is the front runner and he’s just been contacted by the production.
