There have been other developers that said the PS4 was easier and that is accurate. However most of them from what I have seen online are from indie devs who are making simpler games than what CD Project makes. I’m not a dev and neither is anyone else in this forum so all of our opinions mean absolutely nothing when it comes to what the actual truth is. Having said that I tend to think that both are easy to develop for and this whole argument is pathetic.

How much was this dope paid by Microsoft to say that crap? Everyone knows the PS4 is easy to develop on. It has nothing to do with the PS3 even. It’s like a PC. Someone get rid of that clown. He’s just a liar. The Xbone is a mess. Even Microsoft has said once developers figure it out hopefully the games will get better.

he is talking about API’s guys… DirectX vs psGL, libGEN and Nvidia’s CG. As you can see Sony has a mess of API while MS has everything under one. So no need to put all your panties in a bunch. CD still praised the memory set-up of the PS4 if you missed that part. HW wise the PS4’s easier and better.

Sonybabies are the worst, its ‘TEH CELL’ and ‘BLURAYZ ‘ all over again. The ps3 was gonna blow the Xbox 360 away and we all remember how that turned out. The ps2 was gonna have Toy Story 2 level graphics. Throughout the the years, Sony has lied to its consumers about EVERYTHING, yet these same clowns are still buying Sony’s hype and outright lies.
There’s a reason GDDR5 RAM isn’t used from typical RAM processes.
It works great in a highly parallel system like a GPU, it runs like shit in a highly linear system like a CPU.
Unless Sony has literally made the biggest breakthrough in CPU/RAM architecture in the last 20 years then using GDDR5 RAM as system RAM is more bad than good
Considering AMD has poor single threaded performance and this is an 8 core APU with a low clock rate it’s probably out performed by processors from 2007-2008. Better hope MUH OPTIMIZATION saves the PS4.
11. Bad assembly and cheap plastic. Someone could not find its power button because it was missed.
12. Defective disc drive. Sometimes can’t play disc based games or movies.
13. The screen is glitchy.
14. Battery in controller dies in less than 6 hours of gameplay.
Other problems and complains:
- Bluray loads painfully slow.
- Blu-ray will not output digital sound, neither will games. But the dashboard will?
- Blu-ray looks DVD quality and a little bit muddy.
- Blue blinding light on controller, with no option to turn it off.
- Constant game freezing
- Poor interface for inviting friends to online games
- Just plain poor interface
- 3.5 hour initial set up.
