Kojima: MGSV “transits to sneaking simulator”

Hideo Kojima often uses Twitter to try and explain some of the (admittedly) confusing elements of MGSV. The MGS series has been known for a convoluted storyline, but this time Kojima and his crew took this to another level, since the announcement of Phantom Pain coming from a fake developed, Moby Dick Studio.

The confusion on the differences between MGSV: Ground Zeroes and MGSV: Phantom Pain are just now being dissipated, with the release date of Ground Zeroes nailed down for 18th March in North America and 20th March in Europe for PS3, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox 360; however, Kojima continues to explain the finer details, as he just did in a series of tweets, defining Ground Zeroes as “both a prologue and tutorial of new MGS which transits to sneaking simulator”.

Phantom Pain is then labeled as “hundreds of times bigger”.

As always with Kojima and MGS, the hype for MGSV goes straight through the roof. We’ll know soon enough if Ground Zeroes is enough of a game to let us wait for Phantom Pain peacefully.

I was really hoping to have PS4 by the time this released. Looks like I’ll have to get it on PS3 if I can’t get it soon after.
