343 Admits Halo 4 Faults

343 Industries’ Design Director Brad Welch discussed some of the issues Halo 4 suffered with members of the community. Including being completely dropped as a competitive title and the  losing a huge number of players population since the game’s release, it’s been a rough time for 343 first major Halo title.

 

Some of the issues mentioned include a rather small multiplayer team, smaller maps feeling too focused on “hardcore” gameplay, and the sheer emphasis on bigger maps.

    How about the campaign whilst stunning in beauty and sound was at the same time fantastically boring.

      I found it to be the most emotional campaign of all the Halo’s and the most fulfilling after Halo: Reach and Halo 2.

    The thing that turned me off about Halo 4 multiplayer is when 343 decided to get rid of the whole 1-50 rank system. I forgot the excuse for why they dumped it, but it just didnt feel like a Halo mp game without it. First rule 343 should remember is If it’s not broke then don’t fix it.
