Hyper Light Drifter confirmed for PlayStation 4/Vita

Hyper Light Drifter, a 2D Action/RPG described as a cross between Zelda: A Link to the Past and Diablo, was just confirmed for PlayStation 4 and Vita releases after the dedicated stretch goal of $ 220K has been surpassed on the Kickstarter campaign.

The game, developed by Heart Machine, probably won’t tax the power of Sony‘s upcoming platform, but it managed to garner a lot of attention from gamers abroad. There are 24 more days available for those willing to pledge and we’re sure that more stretch goals will be unlocked before it’s over – so far, co-op and competitive modes were added to the game, amongst other things.

Release is currently scheduled for June 2014.
