Battlefield 4 has over 240,000 custom combinations with each weapon
The Battlefield 4 blog has revealed astounding numbers by saying a single weapon in the game has over 240,000 different combinations with its customization options.
From laser sights to angled grips, players seem to have plenty of options to choose from in regards to their weapon attachment and design.
Much of these alterations come from the multitude of camo options for your guns. Each type of camo pattern such as Desert or Woodland will have 16 of their own variations. To top it off, Battlefield 4 will also have new adaptive camouflage, a paint for your gun that shifts its appearance depending on the environment you’re in.
Snipers will also have the new options to “zero” their rifles, which allows players to estimate how far away a target is, calibrate the scope and make a decisive shot. Additionally, there will be new 40X zoom and 2X zoom scopes to appeal for those who like long distances or want to have more options with their 1X scope on the go.
Like many other FPS’, Battlefield 4 will have new Battle Pickups. Acting as “power weapons,” these ordinances are positioned on specific parts of the map where they are greatly suited. They can be located using the game’s radar. Battle Pickups also acts as a way to encourage players to try different types of weapons
Battlefield 4 will move out for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on Oct. 29, 2013. It will also release for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with their respective launch dates of Nov. 15, 2013, and Nov. 22, 2013.
