DuckTales: Remastered releasing next month
11 July 2013
Capcom has announced DuckTales: Remastered will release in August for all major platforms.
To celebrate the announcement, or the “quack-tastic news” at they put it, Capcom has released the first-ever “Duckumentary,” which is part of a series of videos releasing every week leading up to launch. The Duckumentaries go behind the scenes with WayForward – the developers of behind DuckTales: Remastered – and showcase the development process the team has undergone bringing back Scrooge McDuck and the game itself to a modern era of gaming.
In addition to the Duckumentaries, there will also be “Travel Tip” videos from LaunchPad McQuack. These videos will begin releasing next week and, like the Duckumentaries, will have a new video put out every week until the game launches.
DuckTales: Remastered will release in North America on Aug. 13 for the Wii U eShop, PlayStation Network and PC for $14.99. The Xbox Live version will launch one month later on Sept. 11. There will also be a boxed version of DuckTales: Remastered, which comes with a download code and a collectible DuckTales Disney pin for $19.99.
