Assassin’s Creed IV ship will be at Comic-Con
Have you ever wanted to board a real pirate ship?
The Assassin’s Creed IV ship will be at Comic-Con where Ubisoft is giving attendees the chance to board the main ship featured in the game – the Jackdaw. The ship features three floors to explore and will have a playable demo of Assassin Creed IV’s singleplayer and multiplayer modes that have been created with the new Game Lab feature.
The ship is open starting at 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. from July 19 to July 20 at 5th Ave. Landing located behind the Comic-Con’s convention center.
There will also be other events surrounding the Jackdaw.
Comic artist and McFarlane Toys Founder Todd McFarlane will also be there to sign things from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m on July 19 and 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on July 20. McFarlane is additionally giving away a signed limited edition Assassin’s Creed poster and giving toy collectors a first-look at the new Assassin’s Creed figures.
If meeting McFarlane isn’t enough, you can visit the Jackdaw to snag an inflatable cutlass sword, Assassin’s Creed IV art booklets from Titan, prizes and more. There also be a weapon demonstration pirate weapon historian Mike Loades. Official partner of Assassin’s Creed IV, Schick Hydro, will also be giving out free razors with other booty.
Assassin’s Creed IV will also host a panel from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m July 19 in room 6BCF. There will be a live demo of the game, new details on the next series of Assassin’s Creed comics, and a Q & A session with the following people involved in the Assassin’s Creed franchise: Darby McDevitt, Assassin’s Creed IV writer; Brenden Fletcher, Assassin’s Creed comic book writer; and once again, Todd McFarlane.
