nVidia SHIELD price dropped to 299$/€

The console war competition gets tougher every day, and that includes mobile platforms. nVidia just announced to have dropped SHIELD price from 349$/€ to 299$/€ before release, in an attempt to get the device in the hands of more gamers.

The console, powered by a TEGRA 4 chip,  is set to release on June 27th and will allow players to either access the ever increasing Android library or even their PC library via streaming, similarly to Sony’s Remote Play, although that will only work if you have a recent nVidia GPU.
