Movies for Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs, Far Cry, Rabbids

Ubisoft is clearly opening its doors to the world of Cinema lately. After three videogame adaptations already planned (in the names of Ghost Recon, Assassin’s Creed and Splinter Cell) it is news from today that the studios is about to launch another round of three feature adaptations.

The film division of the game publisher plans to put on screen Watch Dogs, Far Cry and Rabbids, in the next couple of years. Far Cry was actually already adapted in 2008 by german director Uwe Boll in a fairly decent action b-movie, but probably plans will be for a reboot in a bigger Hollywood-style this time.

For every movie Ubisoft will maintain creative control over it, thus ensuring the greatest possible coherence.
